Musings of a Peculiar Virgin Islander

Welcome to my world: the vivid imagination, opinions and experiences of an odd twenty-something from St. Thomas, one the U.S. Virgin Islands, as I discuss the dynamics of life from my side of the Caribbean Sea. What makes me 'peculiar'? Besides 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV), keep reading and you'll find out soon enough. ;o) Of course, everything I say won't be restricted to this 4-island American territory but I think that fact will lend a delicious 'spice' to my musings. Enjoy!

Summertime

Just checking in... I realize it's been a while since I last posted. Wow... I completely lost track of time; but all for good cause. I'm actually chillin' and enjoying the summer. To be NOT bogged-down with reading and papers is a fantastic feeling, and one that I'm savoring to the fullest.

It's amazing because in the last 2 months, I've caught up with lots of old friends and threw a surprise party for a new one. Work is cool--I hit somewhat of a personal pothole, but God is handling that in the background. I've hit a new stride in my musical addiction--*sigh* feels so good to be back in 'the habit'. And best of all, my relationship with Jesus is on the up-and-up: I've been diligently seeking Him, staying consistent with devotion time and He has blessed me with revelation from His Word.

At this very present moment, I can honestly say that I'm at a point of peace in my life. Glory to God!

So yeah, I should be back more often now. Stay tuned!
